A loyal companion...

A picture i just decided to draw (it was origionally suppose to be an abandoned puppy picture but instead i decided to just add a cute/sad story to this pic (dun worry puppy isnt abandoned 83))

There was once a little puppy who was abandoned by his previous owners because they had to move.They left the little puppy in a carboard box with a "Take me home" sign on it,the puppy cried for it's momma and papa (owners) but they never showed up...The little puppy continued to cry as people walked passed him,his big green eyes begging for someone to help him.The crowd stared but continued to pass by,the little puppy believed that no one wanted him...Later the next day,as the puppy slowly awoke from his slumber,he noticed a little girl.Her pale blue eyes looking down at the young puppy...The little girl smiled at him as she picked him up,"Don't worry little puppy,i'm here for you..." the little girl mumbled happily as she slowly walked away from the box with the little pup in her arms...The puppy was nervous at first when she setted him down in her home,her parents staring at the little puppy,the little puppy looked up at them and slowly wagged his tail.He felt loved for once,they never left him,they loved him and fed him everyday,for once the little puppy wasn't alone...As 2 years past,the little puppy and the girl became best friends,he may have gotten bigger but her love never changed for him...It was a sad time though,the little girl grew very sick all of a sudden,the doctors and her parents never let her leave the house.She was very tired and didn't get to play as much as she used too,the little puppy whined as he laid in her bed,his eyes looking up into hers.The little puppy never left her side,he ate in her room,sleeped in her room,he only went to the bathroom when someone went to check on her.He vowed to never leave his friends side,no matter what....The little girl never went to school anymore either,all of her friends made her cards and letters asking her to get well soon.The little puppy prayed that she would,he didn't want her to be sick forever,he wanted to play with her again...A few months passed and nothing seemed to get better,her skin was now very pale and white,she looked almost like a ghost!The little puppy prayed that she would get better...Soon his prayers were answered!It took the little girl another year before she got better,they said that it was a miracle that she had survived.The little puppy now thanks everyday that he has her now,even more thankful than he used to be because now she was going to stay with him...Forever...
